Katie is a TEFL certified teacher from Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Her professional background is in non-profits, but she moved to Italy to teach in order to help students improve their English and learn more about the culture.
Katie enjoys traveling to different areas in Italy, riding her bike along the Tiber, reading, and loves talking to her students about their lives to get to know them and give them an opportunity to practice speaking English.
Tracey received her TEFL International Certificate in 2008 and has been teaching English in Rome for 9 years. She enjoys working with students of all ages and specializes in Cambridge exam preparation and Business English. Her hobbies include: travelling, swimming and distilling liquors.
Michelle’s previous teaching experience was in after school programs in Madison, Wisconsin (USA). Michelle received her CELTA certification in September 2016. She loves travel and photography, and has a passion for animal rescue and training.
Jared’s teaching career is in the beginning stages however he brings with him 8 years of experience working in business and leadership roles in the USA. His classes are communicative, relaxed and fun! He enjoys photography, watching sports, and learning how to speak Italian.
“Imitate my accent and you’ll speak like the Queen of England!” She tells her students. They laugh, but it’s true! She’s very English and loves to help her students be the best they can be, which includes speaking good English. She’s had three careers so far: as a social entrepreneur, a Public Relations professional and, of course, an English teacher. She has taught for over 10 years in all, in Hong Kong, Munich, London, Siena, Milan and Rome, including at two universities. She’s best teaching young adults and working people as she brings lots of business experience to the table. She can honestly say that the British School here in Rome is the best language school she’s ever worked for. There is a strong commitment here to do the best job we can, and to go the extra mile. Years of tutoring and a passion for connecting cultures led Allie to obtain her TEFL certification in August 2017. She incorporates positivity and variety into each of her lessons. In her free time, Allie enjoys singing, baking, and listening to live music.
Devin swam with dolphins today, plays the cello, and loves karate.
Just kidding, but she’s funny! She studied comedy in Chicago before becoming
TEFL-certified and moving to Rome. She loves pizza, vocabulary, and riding
